Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram underwent a minor surgery at a private hospital here today.
The 55-year-old minister was admitted to Apollo Hospital under the supervision of senior cardiologist Dr Vivek Gupta, and the surgery was done by Dr Ajit Saxena, senior consultant, urology.
"The minister was admitted on Saturday with complaints of pain in the lower abdomen. After evaluation, he was operated upon for an urological problem. His condition is perfectly stable and will be discharged tomorrow," Dr Gupta said.
Oram's diabetes and blood pressure was brought under control before the surgery, he said.
