Oscar nominated 'Room' to release in India on Jan 29

Multiple Oscar-nominated film "Room", a haunting story about a mother and her child imprisoned in a small room, is all set to release in India on January 29.

The movie, based on the best-selling novel by Emma Donoghue, has been lauded by critics and awards.

"Room" has got nominations in best picture, best actress, best director, and best-adapted screenplay.

The film is beautifully directed by Lenny Abrahamson and tells the story of a 5-year-old boy, Jack (Tremblay) and his Ma (Brie Larson) who has been kidnapped and kept in a small room for 7 years.

The film is being released in India by PVR Pictures.
