Odisha Board of Secondary Education today decided to conduct the Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) examination twice a year.
In absence of a fixed time schedule, the Board faced problems in conducting the OTET examination, School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said.
So, to meet the requirement of teachers, OTET examination would be conducted twice a year, Mishra said adding that the timing has also been fixed.

While the first examination would be held on the first Sunday of June, the second one to be taken up on the first Sunday of December, he said.
In case of exigencies, the dates might be deferred to the next suitable date by the government, the minister said.
