Over 150-kg heroin seized along Punjab IB this year

The Border Security Force (BSF) have recovered more than 150 kg of heroin and arrested 10 Pakistani smugglers along the international border (IB) in Punjab this year, a senior official said.

R S Kataria, deputy inspector general of the BSF, said 158.74 kg of heroin and 1.98 kg of opium have been seized along the IB in Punjab this year till now.

Ten Pakistani smugglers were also arrested, along with 10 mobiles and 25 SIM cards, the DIG said.
