Over 470 persons detained in Chennai during storming op

: More than 470 persons were detained on various charges such as drunken driving during a 'storming' operation conducted in city late last night, police said today.

A total of 476 persons, including those against whom non-bailable warrants had been pending, were arrested.

The operation was conducted by special police in various areas, including hotels and mansions, a police release said.
