Over 60 differently-abled couples tie knot

Over a 60 differently-abled couples from different districts of Maharashtra tied nuptial knot at a mass marriage here.

A total of 108 couples, of which 25 were visually- impaired while 40 handicapped, arrived hand-in-hand and on wheelchairs at the venue from places like Nandurbar, Jalna, Jawhar, Mokhada.

The programme was jointly organised by Hindi Bhashi Ekta Parishad, Rajastani Seva Samiti, and Bramha Foundation.

The entire mass marriage also saw a novelty where few guests performed the 'kanyadaan' (a marriage ritual) of some of the brides.
