Over 9,000 service voters in Delhi's electoral roll; list being updated

There are over 9,000 service voters in Delhi, according to the national capital's published this January.

He, however, said nearly 90,000 are currently being processed and asked first-time voters to apply as soon as possible to get their names enrolled in the electoral list.

The number of first-time voters, aged 18-19, in the electoral roll stands at 1,58,314, he told reporters here.

Singh also said authorities will keep a strict vigil on to check the spread of fake and hate speech to ensure free and fair polls, and asserted that "appropriate action" will be taken against violators.
