Over one kg gold seized at Coimbatore airport

About 1.5 kg of gold was today seized from a passenger at the airport here today.

The passenger was travelling by a

Sharjah-Coimbatore-Calicut flight which landed here in the early hours, customs department sources said.

The passenger hails from Kerala's Ernakulam district and further interrogation is on, the sources added.
