Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore today said he got Rs 4.45 crore sanctioned for the village he adopted under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) and the amount will be spent through a public water scheme undertaken by the state government.
"The money will be spent for construction of 1 lakh litre-capacity tank at Dhankya village, a move which will benefit its adjacent areas. Every household will be provided with tap water. New tubewells will be dug," the Minister of State for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said in a statement.
"The main objective of the scheme is to provide potable water the Dhankya village," Rathore said.
