Pakistan given $13 billion under CSF for war on terror since 9/11

The Coalition Support Fund (CSF) is going to end on September 30 this year with the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan

Pakistan received at least $13 billion from the US since the September 11, 2001, attacks for logistic and other support in the war against terrorism, the country's parliament was told.

This was stated by defence secretary Alam Khattak while briefing the senate committee on defence here on Wednesday.

Khattak said that his country got "$13 billion under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) since 9/11", while another $200 million is due to be reimbursed by the US.
 

He said that 40% of the amount received was allocated to civil government while 60% was given to the armed forces.

The CSF is going to end on September 30 this year with the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
