Pak mortar shell recovered, defused

Security forces recovered and defused a mortar shell of Pakistan-origin in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said here today.

An 82-mm mortar shell was recovered near Hamilton bridge last evening and was later defused, they said.

The recovery of the Pak-origin shell sparked panic in the area.
