A senior local leader of the ruling PML-N was killed by Pakistani Taliban gunmen in northwest Pakistan today, police said.
President of the Peshawar district of Pakistan Muslim League-N Sardar Khan was killed when the armed men attacked and opened indiscriminate fire on him.
The incident occurred in interior of Peshawar city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the killing.
