Palani-Kodaikanal ghat road had been closed after a giant boulders fell on the road following heavy rains for the past two days.
Officials said boulders had fallen at several places in Kumbur Vayal, Vadakavunji area and the traffic had been blocked.
Police requested the people to use Batlagundu road to reach Kodaikanal.
