The district police have launched man-hunt for a man from Nala Sopara who tried to set a woman on fire.
The accused was identified as O M Goswami.
Inspector Ravindra Badguzar of Nala Sopara police station saiod Goswami had intimate relations with the 21 years old victim, a resident of Gorai, since October 2013.

However, as she began to insist for a marriage, he beat her up on several occasions; and sometime last year he also tried to set her on fire after pouring kerosene on her.
According to the complainant, he married some other woman.
Police are looking for the accused. An attempt to murder case has been registered against him.
