Prices of palmolein and soyabean oils fell by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand at prevailing levels.
However, non-edible oils remained steady in restricted buying from consuming industries.
Traders said besides weak overseas cues, easing demand against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on select edible oil prices.

In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,700 and Rs 5,500,while crude palm oil (ex-kandla) traded lower by the same margin to Rs 4,350 per quintal respectively.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also ended lower by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,500 and Rs 6,200 per quintal respectively.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,900, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,350-1,400, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,300, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,220- 1,270, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,270-1,370, sesame mill delivery 8,000, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,500, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,200, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 4,350, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 5,900, Palmolein (RBD) 5,700, Palmolein (Kandla) 5,500 and Coconut (per tin) 2,550-2,575.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 8,150, Castor 9,600-9,700, Neem 5,350-5,450.
