Panthera sparkles

Panthera, ridden by C A Brisson, won the Ambur Plate, the main event of the races here today.

The winner, trained by B Suresh, is a property of Dr M A M Ramaswamy Chettiar of Chettinad Charitable Trust.

Suresh and co-trainer Saddam Iqbal saddled two winners each while jockeys Brisson and C Umesh rode three winners each. Three favourites obliged in a card of eight events.
