Panthera wins chief event

'Panthera', ridden by jockey C Brisson and trained by B Suresh, won the Nagercoil plate, the chief event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy Chettiar of Chettinad Charitable Trust.

Trainers R Foley and B Suresh saddled two winners each while jockey A Imran K rode two winners.

Three favourites obliged in a card of six events.
