Paris Hilton warns about social media obsession

Socialite Paris Hilton said she is aware that social media can be a scary place.

The 36-year-old TV personality, who is producing a documentary on the effects of social media, said she would want her kids to experience the real joys of life, away from the scrutiny of the Internet, reported FemaleFirst.

"When I have a daughter one day, I don't want her to be so obsessed with social media. I just think there are way more important things in life," Hilton said.

The hotel heiress is dating actor Chris Zylka and the couple is planning to marry soon.
