'Greys Anatomy' star Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian Fink are heading for divorce after 15 years of marriage.
Fink filed for divorce from the 49-year-old actor, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason of their split, reported Ace Showbiz.
The couple released a statement, saying, "It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage. Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family's privacy at this very sensitive time."
Flink is requesting for joint custody for their three children, 12-year-old daughter Tallulah Fyfe, and 7-year-old twins Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen. She is also seeking for spousal and child support.
The couple who got married in 1999 reportedly did not have a pre-nuptial agreement. Dempsey is estimated to be worth around USD 40 million.
