Pawar inaugurates faculty building, training block at NIPHM

Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar today inaugurated new faculty building and training block at National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) here.

NIPHM, established in 1996, is now an autonomous body for promoting environmentally sustainable plant health management practises in diverse and changing agro-climatic conditions.

It also provides inputs for policy formulation at the state and national levels.

The institute also offers programme in rodent pest management, bio-control agent production protocols and integrated weed management.
