Learning company Pearson today said it has appointed Vikas Singh as Managing Director in India.
In his new role, Singh will work towards making India emerge as significant contributors to Pearson's global growth, the company said in a statement.
Pearson President-Growth Market Giovanni Giovannelli said: "In the past, Vikas had led one of the core verticals, higher education and test preparation, and augmented its portfolio in India."

Hero Cycles launches 3 premium bikes
* Bicycle manufacturer Hero Cycles today launched three premium bikes under its existing Hero Sprint range priced between Rs 7,500 and Rs 12,750.
At present, the company has 17 bikes under its Hero Sprint range.
The recent add-ons will further widen the company's bandwidth in the premium and semi-premium fitness category of bikes, Hero Cycles said in a statement.
