Pedestrian dies in accident in J-K

A pedestrian died after being hit by a negligent car driver on national highway near Hatli Morh in Kathua, police said Friday.

Jagdish Raj was seriously injured after he was hit by Vinod Kumar's vehicle Thursday evening, they said.

Raj was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to injuries, they said, adding police have registered a case against the accused and seized his vehicle.

The accused was apprehended later, they said.
