Person arrested in theft case

West Bengal police arrested a person in connection with a theft case in Burdwan district.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar said West Bengal police with the help of local police has arrested one Sheesh Mohammad from Azadnagar area under Azadnagar police station here last night in connection with a theft case pending with Bugiati police station in Burdwan

Mohammad has been taken away by the West Bengal police for interrogation in connection with the pending case, he said.
