Person arrested with fake notes

A person was arrested and fake notes with a face value of Rs 1.5 lakh from his alleged possession in Ranchi today, the police said here.

Getting a tip off, the police raided a place under Chutia police station and arrested Rajendra Sao, police said.

During interrogation, Sao said he got the fake notes from a person, who brought them from Malda in West Bengal, and was to be handed over to another person.
