A man has moved the Madras High Court Bench here seeking a direction to police to register a case against a Tamil Nadu Minister for alleged adultery and intimidation.

The petitioner, a private school teacher based in Tuticorin, alleged the minister was having an adulterous relationship with his wife.

He further charged he was forced to divorce his wife, also a teacher, due to threat from the Minister.

Claiming that the future of his two children was under a cloud due to the illicit relationship, the petitioner alleged the Minister had even threatened to kill him.

When he tried to lodge a complaint with Sathankulam police, the latter refused to accept it, the petitioner alleged.

Hence, he has approached the Court seeking a direction to register his complaint.
