Photo session on railway track ends in tragedy

A photo session by some youth on a railway track near here ended in tragedy when one of them was fatally knocked down by a speeding train.

A 16-year-old student was killed after he was hit by a running train at Ollur yesterday while one of his friends was clicking his photo, police said today.

Though the seriously injured was admitted to a hospital, he succumbed to injuries. The youths were taking pictures for posting it on Facebook, it was stated.
