PI Industries posts 78 pc rise in Q2 profit

Agro-chemicals firm PI Industries today reported 78 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 101 crore for the quarter ended September.

The company's revenue increased by 20 per cent to Rs 572 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

During the first half of this fiscal, net profit increased by 60 per cent to Rs 228 crore, while revenue went up by 17 per cent to Rs 1,255 crore compared to the year-ago period.
