Pilgrim crushed by truck in UP

A pilgrim was killed this morning after a truck ran over him when he was sleeping near a petrol pump in Uttar Pradesh's Ambedkarnagar district, police said.

Following the accident, a group of people set four trucks on fire. The situation is under control now, a state police release said.

The truck's driver managed to flee the spot after the incident, it said.
