Pilgrim dies en route Vaishnodevi shrine

A Vaishnodevi-bound pilgrim died near Ban Ganga area of Katra town in Reasi district today.

The pilgrim, identified as Vishno Sonaba, a resident of Maharashtra, was found dead under mysterious circumstances, a police officer said.

The body has been brought to Community Health Centre Katra and a case has been registered.

The body will be handed over to the relatives after conducting all legal and medical formalities, the officer said.
