Pilgrim killed, 12 injured in road mishap

The accident took place last evening when a SUV carrying 13 pilgrims en route to Haridwar hit a stationary truck on the Delhi-Haridwar highway, about 25 kms from here, they said.

The deceased was identified as Rishipal (55), police said adding, the 12 injured have been admitted to the district hospital, where their condition was stated as serious.

The pilgrims were coming from Baghpat.
