Pipavav CEO quits

Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company today said its CEO Rajiv Suman Shukla has resigned from the post.

"Rajiv Sarman Shukla has ceased to be Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from May 30, 2015," the company said in a filing to the BSE.

However, it did not cite any reason for the resignation.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 59.40 apiece, down 1.66 per cent on the BSE.

Pipavav Defence is mainly into manufacturing of commercial ships and repair of oil rigs.
