Play washed out again in MCA U-19 trials

Overnight rain caused wet pitch conditions and washed out play for the third successive day in the second round of the 28th Sportstar Trophy MCA U-19 Selection Trial Tournament here today.

As a result, all four teams competing in the tournament gained a point each.

The first round had followed the same pattern and after two rounds, Vijay Manjrekar XI, Vijay Merchant XI, Khandu Rangnekar XI and Dattu Phadkar XI were all level with two points each.

The third and concluding round is scheduled from October 1-3 at the same two venues, Karnataka and Elf-Dilip Vengsarkar Acadmy grounds.
