A plea in the Delhi High Court for enforcing an international tribunal's ruling asking ISRO's commercial arm -- Antrix Corporation -- to pay damages worth USD 672 million (Rs 4,432 crore) to Devas Multimedia for scrapping a deal four years ago, was adjourned today.
The matter was deferred to October 9 as Justice J R Midha before whom the matter was listed for hearing did not hold the court today.
Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)'s arbitration body International Court of Arbitration in its ruling had asked Antrix to pay damages worth USD 672 million to city-based Devas Multimedia for "unlawfully" terminating the deal, citing national security.
