Pleasant day in city

Delhiites today woke up to a pleasant day with the minimum temperature settling at 15.5 degrees Celsius even as the weather department predicted possibility of light rains.

Visibility at Palam and Safdarjung was recorded at 1500 and 1200 metres respectively at 5.30 AM and had dropped to 800 metres at both the places, said a MeT department official.

Humidity was recorded at 87 per cent this morning.

The weatherman has predicted possibility of light rains or thunder with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 23 degrees Celsius.

Moderate to shallow fog is expected tomorrow morning, the official added.

Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 11.9 and 23.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
