Pleasant day in Delhi; light rain likely tomorrow

The weather was pleasant in the national capital today with generally cloudy skies even as the MeT department forecast "light rain" tomorrow.

There is a possibility of light rain tomorrow with minimum and maximum temperatures settling around 14 and 23 degrees Celsius, said a MeT official.

Today, minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at 11.9 degrees Celsius and 23.2 degrees Celsius.

The morning was marked by moderate fog bringing down the visibility to 500 metres at 5.30, which improved to 600 metres by 8.30 am.

A railways spokesperson said that 35 Delhi-bound trains were delayed, four cancelled and 10 others rescheduled due to fog in northern states.
 

Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled at 25.1 degrees Celsius.
