PM congratulates Afghanistan for World Cup win over Scotland

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tonight congratulated Afghanistan for its first ever win in a World Cup cricket match when it defeated Scotland.

"Congrats Afghanistan for the WC win over Scotland. Am sure this 1st ever WC win is a joyful moment for cricket lovers in Afghanistan!," he tweeted.

Put into bat, Scotland were all out for 210 in 50 overs, before the Mohammad Nabi-led side reached the target with three balls to spare.
