PM congratulates new Uttarakhand CM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated Trivendra Singh Rawat after he took oath as Uttarakhand Chief Minister and expressed confidence that his government will achieve a record development in the state.

"Congratulations to Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat & the entire team sworn in today. Am sure they will work hard & fulfil people's aspirations," Modi tweeted after attending the swearing-in ceremony in Dehradun.

"The new Uttarakhand government will return the tremendous affection shown by the people of the state with record development," he added.
