PM greets people on Maha Shivratri

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted the people on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

"Greetings on Maha Shivratri," he tweeted.

Devotees across the country today celebrated the festival by visiting Lord Shiva temples and offered flowers and fruits.

The festival celebrates the wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
