PM Modi to visit Mizoram on December 16

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to make his maiden visit to Mizoram on December 16, an official release said today.

Modi would address a public meeting at the Assam Rifles ground, where he would inaugurate a 60-MW Tuirial Hydro Electric Project, it said.

Police officials said security would be boosted during the prime minister's visit.
