Prime Minister Narendra Modi would address BJP workers here on June 14.
Goa BJP spokesperson Dr Wilfred Mesquita told PTI that Modi would address workers at Dr Shama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium at Taleigao, near here.
Modi will be in Goa to inaugurate the Indian Navy's Shore Based Test Facility (SBTF), at the INS Hansa airbase.
The facility has been built to train the pilots of MiG29K fighter planes, attached to the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of a bridge on the Mandovi river.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said that Modi will be making several announcements regarding the state during his visit. "We are happy that he chose Goa for his first function outside Delhi (after becoming the PM)," Parrikar said.
