PMK demands reintroduction of ballot paper system

Members of the Pattali Makkal Katchi held here a demonstration today demanding introduction of the "Ballot paper" system of voting during general elections.

The demonstrators led by the party's Deputy General Secretary, Veerakumar charged that Electronic Voting Machines were not tamper proof and could be manipulated.

They demanded the Election Commission to reintroduce the ballot paper system to prevent such malpractices.
