Four miscreants, who had opened fire at a businessman's house here few days back, were arrested today, police said.
Deependra Singh (21), along with other accomplices identified as Deepak Tanwar (26), Jogendra Singh (25) and Vivek Shekhawat (25) had opened fire at the house of the owner of a travel company in order to pressurise him for withdrawing a case lodged against him.
Deependra was caught by the police near Khatipura flyover and a pistol and five cartridges were recovered from him.
During interrogation, he revealed the names of three others who were also picked up by the police from a commercial complex near Khatipura, Additional Police Commissioner Vipin Kumar said.
Two pistols and 17 cartridges were recovered from the trio, he said, adding they were being interrogated.
