Police arrest teacher for slapping headmistress

A school teacher was today arrested on charges of slapping the headmistress at a village in the district today.

Police said the teacher Murugan had asked the headmistress Bhoomi Balaki for 'whitener' but she did not have it.

In the ensuing wordy duel, the Government Adidravidar Welfare Elementary teacher slapped her and she fell and suffered bruises, police said.
