Police arrest two Maoists in Odisha

Police today arrested two maoists from Gamphagunda forest in Odisha's Malkangiri district, police said.

"The duo was arrested during a joint operation by BSF and district police personnel," said Malkangiri SP Mitrabhanu Mohapatra here.

The duo, identified as Budura Padiami and Irma Kobasi of Pitakunda village under Kalimela police station. Both of them were accused in murder and other crimes, police said.
