Police arrests absconder after 6 years in Poonch

An absconder, who was wanted in various cases of cheating in 2009, was arrested by the police in the frontier district of Poonch today, a police officer said.

Azamat Hussainm, a resident of village Lasana in Surankote, who was wanted since 2009 in several cases under various sections in Police station Surankote was today arrested, he said.

He said that the accused would be produced before a magistrate soon.
