Police busts a vehicle lifting racket

Police today claimed to have busted a racket in lifting of two-wheelers and arrested five youths, including three engineering students in connection with it.

Commissioner of Police R P Sharma said four motor bikes and a SUV were seized from their possession, he said adding investigation was on in the case.

Sharma said a special police team had earlier arrested one of the members of the gang recently. With information provided by him raids were conducted in different hideouts and the rest apprehended.
