Police chowkidar killed in road accident

A police chowkidar was today killed after a vehicle hit his bicycle when he was on his way to duty in Munshiganj police station area.

The deceased, Rambali Saroj (45), a resident of Gurudattganj, was posted as a chowkidar at Munshiganj police station. He died on the spot in a road mishap on his way to the police station, police said today.

According to Munshiganj SHO VK Mishra, some vehicle hit Rambali's bicycle near Shahgarh crossing on Amethi- Musafirkhana road. The vehicle fled the scene after the accident, he said.
