Police complaint against SBI Manager for harassment

An FIR has been lodged against a SBI bank manager here for allegedly harassing loan beneficiaries, police said today.

The FIR was lodged yesterday against CL Sagar, manager of SBI Karhal branch, for allegedly harassing beneficiaries of the "Prime Minister's Rojgar Srajan Karyakram" by not sanctioning them loans, they said.

The FIR was lodged on directions of Sub Divisional Magistrate after a number of beneficiaries complained about being harassed by Sagar, they said.

A probe is on in the matter, they added.
