A police constable was today arrested by the district police for molesting a woman.
The accused was identified as Devidas Chowdhari (37), attached to Dongri police station in Mumbai.
Police said the alleged incident took place at Teesgaon naka near Kalyan yesterday afternoon.
Chowdhari allegedly caught the woman's hand when she was walking down the road, and hurled stones at her when she resisted.
Kolshewadi police station has registered a case.
