Police detain 452 persons on various charges

A total of 452 persons have been detained on various charges, including drunken driving, during a "storming" operation conducted by special police in city.

The operation was conducted late last night at various places including hotels and mansions, a police release said today.

Those who detained include those who were issued non-bailable warrants, it said.
